The cost to new, trainee divers is £250.00. This takes you to Ocean diver level and includes: - Club fees - BSAC fees - BSAC training pack - Club equiment hire for the duration of your training - Pool fees for the year, including after you qualify The only additional costs are entrance to Stoney Cove for your open water dives and the cost of suit hire from Stoney Cove is none is available from the club. |
Training is usually a lecure followed by a pool session, both held at Heanor Leisure Centre on a Monday night. we have a range of equipment for your use while training.
When you're ready to progress to open water, these sessions are usually held at Stoney Cove, Leicestershire. They have a range of wet and dry suits for hire.
If progress is good, this will not prohibit you from attending a dive expedition, although you will be advised if the conditions are unsuitable for your experience.
If there is sufficient interest, we also arrange for other general skill training sessions, and will arrange the appropriate venue and instructor.
